It was a privilege to help shape the opening brand campaign for Brora. Brora whisky is legendary exclusive, limited, and admired worldwide. When the distillery closed in 1983, it became one of the great lost distilleries of Scotland. After three years of painstaking restoration, its wildcat doors reopened in 2021, ushering in a new chapter. The Scottish Wildcat, a larger version of the domestic cat, an endangered species, has become Brora’s emblematic symbol, reflecting the distillery’s deep connection with its Highland landscape and traditions.
To honour the moment, Brora released a remarkable bottling of just 300 sets. A release of this rarity won’t be seen again for another fifty years, or at least until 2070.
